The Summit successfully provided information and a forum to help address the persistent challenges faced by our commercial corridor and all other businesses operating in this area of San Francisco. The over 3,000 businesses here remain a critical part of San Francisco’s economy (no other supervisorial district has as many PDR—production, distribution, and repair—businesses as Bayview). These businesses continue to provide access to essential goods and services, create jobs and economic opportunities, and make vital contributions to San Francisco’s economic vitality and distinct character.
