Founded by Steven Katches, a longtime neighborhood resident and World War II veteran, the business is now run by his three children, Sandra, Nick, and Steve.

The business’ current owners were all born and raised in the Bayview and work around the clock to carry on their father’s legacy of providing supreme quality of service to their customers. Ka-Pa Tire specializes in factory maintenance services, wheel alignment, oil changes, and tune-ups, and has a fine line of new and used tires, batteries, and alternators in stock.
